Honfleur-Rouen

Map loading, please wait. This can take a minute.

This is the only boring bit, since you'll be travelling via autoroute to Rouen.

# Place/Location/Map Road Comments
01 Exit Honfluer on the "Rue P & C Bréard"
Get back onto the track out of town. Start at the "Rue P & C Bréard".

This road will change name several times, but keep following it straight.
02 Join the D289
D289 At the first intersection, turn right onto the D289.
03 Follow the D289 until you reach the autoroute section. Go onto the D144 and then the A29 heading for Rouen/Caen.
D289
D144
A29
Follow the D289 until you reach the autoroute entry point and take this autoroute heading towards Caen/Rouen.
04 Follow the A29 for a few kilometers until you reach the main autoroute for Paris and Rouen (A13).
A29
A13
The A29 eventually goes into the A13.
05 Follow the A13 until just before the Seine river and exit at the d'Oissel junction. Pass under the A13 heading towards Rouen (D18).
A13
D18
The A13 takes about 30 kilometers before reaching the Rouen subburbs.
06 Following the D18 through the industrial estates. At each roundabout, continue straight on.
D18 After a horrible industrial estate, you will be entering the Rouen city. Keep going straight on. You will eventually be driving alongside the Seine river.
07 Enter Rouen by crossing the Jeanne d'Arc bridge.
You are already in Rouen, but the nice part of the city is across the bridge. The easiest bridge to cross is the "Pont Jeanne d'Arc".
08 Rouen
Best is to find a parking garage and park, since many of the streets in Rouen are one way.

Rouen is a very big city and you can easily spend a full day or two here. The inner city is worth spending a lot of time....
