Founded in 1240, St. Pierre-en-Port can be described as a typical Normandy style village. In fact, it is a perfect microcosm, with its church, small supermarket, bakery, butcher, restaurant, post office, real estate agency, hairdresser and several "brocantes" (2nd hand/antique shops)..

St.Pierre is part of the GR21 hiking path, and has a small beach.
