Jumieges is a small town, built around a big and impressive Benedictine Abbey. The Abbey was originally built in the 7th century. It is now a ruin, but can be visited. The Abbey was one of the most prestigious Abbeys in France, and was closed in 1790.

You can arrive at Jumieges from Rouen via the Forest of Bretonne (D313-913). Then, you need to take a small car ferry across the Seine river. The views are impressive and recommendable.
