This majestic palace was built in 1822 to house the Benedictine monks and their "magic" liquor.

The production of this drink (designed in 1510 by a Ventian monk visiting the Fecamp monastary) started here, and today, it is still made here.

The palace is now a working museum. You can still them making the drink, while understanding more how it is made.

At the end of the tour, a free sample is given of the Benedictine liqueur.
